Ideal for freezers, chill stores and areas of high humidity
Thermocore panels have a Polyisocyanurate core. The panels are manufactured from MDI Polyols and blowing agent to produce highly crosslinked polymers.
This closed cell foam has an excellent thermal performance, good shear and tensile strength, whilst being very lightweight.
These benefits make our insulated panels ideal for freezers, chill store and areas of high humidity.

Castellation, Micro Rib & V-Rib Panel Profiles

Flat
Laminated panel produces a much flatter surface than other manufacturing methods, but ‘optical’ flatness is not assured; some shadowing might be evident in certain lighting situations.

V-Rib
Pitch 200mm – 5 per panel

Castellation
Pitch 100mm

Micro Rib
Pitch 300mm – 1 side only
Diagrams not to scale. At Isoclad, we understand that panelling can often be a complex job that requires a number of different materials and panel profiles. Our range of panel profiles allows for great flexibility when it comes to construction; from castellation panels to V-Rib and flat panels, we aim to stock the widest range possible.

Thermocore FAQs
What’s the difference between Thermocore 32 and 40?
The difference between the two panels is the thickness. For thicknesses of up to and including 75mm, this would be a Thermocore 32 PIR panel, and thicknesses of 100mm+ would be a Thermocore 40 PIR panel.
What is the panel density?
Thermocore 32 panels have a density of 32kg/m3 fully cured sanded and de-dusted, extremely square and flat full boards of specified thickness.
What are the panel joint details?
Thermocore panels can be installed using through fix joints.
What are the thermal properties?
The thermal performance of Thermocore 32 PIR panels is up to 0.28 Wm¯²K¯¹ based on a 75mm thick core.
What are the sound deadening properties?
The weighted sound reduction of a Thermocore 32 PIR panel is up to 21dB, based on a 75mm thick core.
What are the manufacturing product tolerances?
