Isoclad has saved nearly 10,000kg of waste from landfill!

We’re proud to share we recently received our Aim To Recycle certificate confirming that we have saved nearly 10,000kg of waste from landfill.

Working in partnership with local Waste Recycling experts, Aim To Recycle, Isoclad are committed to improving our green credentials while lowering our carbon footprint.

Aim To Recycle is the North East’s leading plastic recycling centre, offering an environmentally-friendly solution to waste problems.

Formed in 2000 by Ian McDonald, they are a family business based in Gateshead and pride themselves on being one of the largest recycling companies covering Gateshead, Newcastle, Sunderland, Durham and Tyne and Wear.

“Isoclad are committed to improving our green credentials while lowering our carbon footprint. As much as our involvement with Aim To Recycle is commendable, it is only the beginning. I am working with all of the Isoclad departments to ensure we are ‘doing our bit’ where recycling is concerned.”

Isoclad’s Environment Officer

To reduce our carbon footprint even further, we have developed a ‘Going Green’ strategy.

This is a strategy we continually monitor and improve on in order to make sure product standards comply with relevant environmental standards and requirements, such as ISO 14001 which we have in place.
